Length = about 37 in
Width = 22 in circumference in pattern stitch 

Materials:

1 Skein Schoppell Wolle Zauberball

75% virgin wool 25% Nylon

460 Yds / 420 m per 100 g skein

or approximately 450 yd Total

3 Skeins Rowan Kidsilk Haze

70% Mohair, 30% Silk

230 Yds / 210 m per 25 g skein

Needle Size US 9 circular 24”

Tapestry Needle

Gauge:

14 stitches over 4” in st st on US 9 needles or size needed for accurate gauge

Pattern Stiches:

    

 2 x 2 Rib:

      *k2 p2* repeat *

    

 Garter Variation:

      rows 1 and 2: *7k3p” to end of row

      rows 3 and 4:  *7p 3k* to end of row

Pattern: 

Cast on and set up:

Cast on 80 st.
Knit 2x2 rib for one row.
Join in the round. PM at beginning of row.

Body:

Knit 2x2 rib in the round for 19 inches ending at the beginning of the round.

Change to pattern stitch:
rows 1 and 2: *7k 3p” to end of row
rows 3 and 4: *7p 3k* to end of row

Repeat rows 1-4 for 18 in

Finishing :

End with I-cord bind-off:
Cast on 3 st. *k2 k2tog, pas 3 st to left needle*, repeat until bind off is complete.

Leave 8” tail and cut yarn.
Use Kitchener stitch to unite beginning 3 co stitches with final 3.

Weave in ends.

Wet block.
